As radiant as she is talented, this little ray of sunshine is a precious addition to our team! Alice brings a new vision, which, combined with her hard work, allows us to offer performances that are both poetic and remarkable.

Alice Bourgasser was trained at the Centre Chorégraphique National de Roubaix as a performer but also as a teacher of contemporary dance between 2013 and 2016. At the same time, she created the Cie De l’Autre Côté du Miroir and performed two solos on several local and national stages. She leaves France in 2016 to begin a master’s degree in dance at the Université du Québec de Montréal. It is there that her interest in swing dances, particularly solo jazz, and lindy hop, grew and eventually became a full-time job. Her research thesis focuses on the dance analysis of Whitey’s Lindy Hoppers, a group of dancers who pioneered the lindy hop style.
