Code of conduct
Followlogie wishes to provide a safe environment as well as a comfortable and positive experience for all participants involved in our event. Teachers, students, dancers, competitors, artists, volunteers and Followlogie staff must follow our code of conduct. The organization team as well as our “Safer Space” team will strengthen the code of conduct during the event. We expect the collaboration of everyone to help us provide a safe environment for all.
Therefore, Followlogie works to provide a safer, comfortable and positive experience for everyone, regardless of gender, age, sexual orientation, ability, physical appearance, size, race or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of participants in any ways, in person or online. Sexual and offensive language and degrading images as well as invitations in questionable social situations are in no way appropriate in any location or venues at our event, including dances, workshops, competitions, Facebook and other online media. Attendees who violate these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the event without refund, at the discretion of the organizers.

Code of conduct Details
No form of harassment will be tolerated. Harassment includes offensive verbal comments (related to sex, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, height, race, religion), sexual language, degrading images or invitations to intentional intimidation or harassment, stalking, harrasing photography or recording in public or online spaces, prolonged disruption of workshops or activities, inappropriate physical contacts and untimely sexual attention.
Participants invited to end any harassing behavior are required to comply immediately. If a participant is behaving in a harassing manner, the event organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, from the warning to the expulsion of the event without reimbursement.
If you are harassed, if you notice that someone else is being or if you have other concerns, please immediately contact a member of the Safer Space team using one of the methods listed in the report a safety issue section. The event staff will be happy to help you contact the appropriate resources, the organizers or local law enforcement, provide escorts or otherwise assist harassed people to feel safe for the duration of the event.
We appreciate your presence and your cooperation on this subject. We expect all participants to follow these rules on dance venues, workshops and activities.

It is important for us for you to feel 100% comfortable to share your concerns with us when it comes to safety.
Here are the options you have to report a safety issue
Call or text a Followlogie “Safer Space” team member
Find an organizer or a “Safer Space” team member in person during the event asking registration desk personnel
Send an e-mail to contact@followlogie.ca if you wish to discuss general topics or thoughts about the event security (Note that these can’t be answered or discussed during the event)
For an anonymous message, fill the form in our section “contact us” to send a message to our organization team without providing identification details following indications included on the page.
